Dear Hiring Team,
What drew me to this role is that it isn’t about shipping a flashy new build — it’s about keeping live SaaS and eCommerce platforms accurate and dependable. Writing correct SQL, validating large datasets, verifying product kits and relationships, and catching inconsistencies before they reach a customer is exactly the kind of careful, ongoing work I want to do long-term.
At DOST-ASTI I spent two years on production systems: I optimized database queries through in-depth inspection and root-cause analysis, integrated the core RDS database alongside Redis caching and an Amazon MQ message broker, and kept containerized services running across on-premise and AWS environments. I also raised unit-test coverage from zero to roughly 90%, because a system you can’t trust is a system you can’t maintain. That instinct for data integrity is what your validation work needs.
I build with Claude Code daily, and I use it the way your team will want it used — as a force multiplier under real engineering judgment. On Aqualytix, a production PostgreSQL platform I built solo, I created a validation loop that checks incoming readings against thresholds and flags anomalies, while I owned every architecture and data-modeling decision. My raw coding background is precisely what lets me trust AI on something as unforgiving as data accuracy: I notice when it drifts, and I correct course.
I’m based in Manila and overlap US Eastern business hours daily, and I’m genuinely looking for a long-term engagement like this one. I’d welcome a short call, or you can hand me one real dataset and I’ll show you how I’d validate it.
Warm regards,
Joseph Karl Crisostomo
